FEATURES, FUNCTIONS AND SPECIFICATIONS:
Long periods of continuous operation can greatly increase the heat generated from the final transistors on various HIGH POWER mobile radios.
The extra-large heat sink on the bottom of these radios are known to get hot and damage the transistors.
Finally there is a solution with DELTA ELECTRONICS LED FAN KIT BASE STAND the DFK-LED.
This base stand has 4 rubber grip feet that elevates and stabilizes your radio while a high power BLUE LED ILLUMINATED FAN that cools the bottom heat sink of your radio.
There is a front facing LOUD Built In External Speaker with mono plug which fixes the design flaw of the radio’s speaker being on the bottom, blocked by the enormous heat sink.
The conveniently located toggle switch allows the user to shut the fan/LED on and off easily.
Simply connect to any 12 VDC power source and off you go.
This DFK-LED can fit ANY CB RADIO on top of it!! Makes for a great stand instead of just leaving your mobile radio laying on the table. Add to that the built in external speaker and the great looking blue LED illumination and you got yourself a great way to keep your radio organized at your station.
This DFK-LED is a universal stand meant to perfectly fit on the following radio models:

The radios listed above are notorious for emitting good portion of this heat when the radio is under long hard use. However, when the operation is continuous in the high power mode, this can put added wear and strain on the finals, potentially shortening their life expectancy. Now, with the addition of the DFK Cooling Fan BASE STAND, this problem and worry is eliminated. With the cooling fan moving the air around and through the fins of the heat sink, fresh, cooler air is continually distributed over the finals. Longer life and a cooler operation is realized from the radio allowing for less possibility of damage to your expensive rig.
