FEATURES, FUNCTIONS AND SPECIFICATIONS:
Your new Antenna has been carefully manufactured from the finest materials and workmanship to give you maximum performance and durability.
The Antennas are pre-tuned at the factory as close as possible.
However due to variations in verhicles, mounting locations or the addition of a spring, quick disconnect, or "E-Z" over mounts further tuning maybe desirable to obtain maximum performance.

MOUNTING:
The Metal body of the verhicle serves as the ground plane in mobile installations.
There fore, it is extremely important to install the antanna mount properly for agood low resistance connection between the mount, verhicle body and coax shield.
Check to see that all hardware and connections are tightened securely.
TUNING THE ANTENNA:
Loosen the allen screw and insert whip into top of antenna coil, retighten the allen screw.
Once the antenna is properly installed on the verhicle, check SWR's.
If below 2:1 (optimun 1:5) no further tuning is necessary.
Move whip up few mm at a time and re-test until optimum SWR reading occurs.
Cutting the shaft at a time maybe necessary in some case.
