Battery Backup Module.
This module can be connected to a DC power supply to supply battery back-up power to your equipment in the event of an AC source power failure.
On restoration of AC power the battery back-up module regulates output current and voltage to recharge the batteries.
This unit is a solid-state device which allows uninterrupted DC power in association with a power supply and a battery. The transfer of load between the power supply and the battery is instantaneous. It also keeps the battery charged by providing float charge.
Input Voltage up to 28VDC, Output Voltage 5VDC less than input, Output up to 30A* on load terminals.

.....27.6 VDC for 24 V battery.
◾ Input current: Up to 25 A.
◾ Output Voltage:
.....0.5 V less than the input voltage (At 10 A) i.e.
.....13.5 VDC for input voltage of 14 VDC for 12 V battery.
.....27.1 VDC for input voltage of 27.6 VDC for 24 V battery.
◾ Output current to load:
.....Up to 21 A for 12 V battery *
.....Up to 17 A for 24 V battery *
◾ Charging current to battery:
.....Up to 4 A for 12 V battery *
.....Up to 8 A for 24 V battery *
* NOTEThe unit is pre-set for charging current of up to 4 A for 12 V battery and up to 8 Afor 24 V battery. The charging current can be reduced to half the above values bydisconnecting one of the two resistors R1, R2. Please see User Manual under Principle ofOperation – Adjustment to reduce the values of maximum charging currentto half.
